CONSTRUCTION SAFETY WEEK 2020 Award Presentation Ceremony

Actively improve lifting operation safety to achieve "Zero Accidents" by using innovative technology

The Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council (CIC) co-organise the Construction Safety Week (CSW) 2020 for increasing the awareness of the industry stakeholders on construction safety, encouraging the industry to adopt innovation and technologies and working together in creating a working environment with “zero accidents”. In particular, the focus of CSW 2020 is on the lifting operation safety.

With the support from the industry stakeholders, the CSW 2020 Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 27 October 2020 at the CIC-Zero Carbon Park and was broadcasted on the CSW website.  While the awards for Considerate Contractors Site Award Scheme (public works) were presented by the Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) and directorates of Works Departments to the winning contracts on construction sites, other awards including  the Considerate Contractors Site Award Scheme (non-public works), Innovative Safety Initiative Award (ISIA), Lifting Safety Promotional Campaign, Site Safety Gathering Awards, Outstanding Award for Sports Excellence and Activeness as well as Outstanding Award for Volunteering Excellence and Activeness were presented by the CIC at the CIC-Zero Carbon Park.
