Conference 29.8.2022

The Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council are co-organising Construction Safety Week 2022 (29 August – 2 September 2022) with the aim of continuing to promote and reinforce the “Zero Accident” message to industry stakeholders. “Safety 2.0” is the main theme for Construction Safety Week 2022.

Construction Safety Week Conference is one of the featured events. The target audience for the morning session includes management from government departments, employers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors, while the afternoon session is targeted at frontline practitioners such as safety officers and site supervisors. The aim is to unite the efforts of all stakeholders to jointly promote and work towards achieving the target of “Zero Accident” in the construction industry.

The corresponding session of the Conference will be cancelled if the No. 8 typhoon signal or above is hoisted or the black rainstorm warning is raised 3 hours prior to commencement of the morning or afternoon session of the Conference (i.e. 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. respectively).
