Conference

The Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council co-organise the "Construction Safety Week 2025" between 25 August and 29 August 2025 with an aim to bolstering the promotion of the target of "Zero Accident". "Smart and Care, Safety Beyond Compare" is the main theme this year. The aim is to enhance construction safety culture through promoting collective responsibility of stakeholders, caring culture and adopting Smart Site Safety System.

Construction Safety Week Conference is one of the featured events. The target audience for the morning session includes management from government departments, employers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors, while the afternoon session is targeted at frontline practitioners such as safety officers and site supervisors. The aim is to enhance construction safety culture through promoting collective responsibility of stakeholders and adopting Smart Site Safety System. The organisers wish to unite the efforts of all stakeholders in the construction industry to jointly promote and work towards the target of "Zero Accident".

The corresponding session of the Conference will be cancelled if the No. 8 typhoon signal or above is hoisted or the black rainstorm warning is raised 3 hours prior to commencement of the morning or afternoon session of the Conference (i.e. 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. respectively).
